Job Description

  1. Responsible for strategic sourcing & procurement of all capital requirements, project procurement, Mechanical spares and services, change parts, tooling, laboratory instrument & consumables.
  2. Handling procurement of equipment, instruments for R & D.
  3. Alternative vendor development.
  4. Achieving target savings.
  5. Co ordinating with plant and vendors for timely delivery of material & services.
  6. Monthly MIS preparation. Includes open and closed PR & PO, spent value etc.
  7. Harmonization of rate contracts across locations.
  8. Financial control.
  9. Tracking vendors ABG and PBG.
  10. Monitor cash flow.
  11. Monitoring payments Presently bottleneck for timely completion.
  12. Monitor CAPEX Budgets.
  13. Accountable for timely purchase and at correct market price.
  14. Accountable for proper coordination between locations and corporate.
